National Handwashing Awareness Week 2020

December 6-12, 2020 is National Handwashing Awareness Week. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) stresses that keeping hands clean is one of the most important ways to avoid getting sick and spreading germs. Many diseases and conditions are spread by not washing hands with soap and clean, running water correctly. Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds. Need a timer? Sing the "Happy Birthday" song from beginning to end twice. Download and share posters and fact sheets to help spread the word and encourage correct handwashing. Access them at the CDC’s “Life is Better with Clean Hands” campaign here.
