Sandy McDonnell expanded her role as a CCHC in 2001, when she joined ECELS as a Training and Technical Assistance Coordinator. Since 2006, Sandy has taught early care and education professionals a variety of health and safety topics. Sandy also works as an independent CCHC. In addition to assisting early learning practitioners/CCHCs with health and safety questions, Sandy works on special projects and updates health and safety workshops and self-learning modules. Kristin Haegele Hill is the Director of Community-Based Initiatives for the PA Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (PA AAP). In her role, she is responsible for the support and development of innovative, community-based projects and programs that improve access to health care and promote preventive health services for children and families in PA. As part of these efforts, she oversees both the Healthy Teeth Healthy Children (HTHC) and Early Childhood Education Linkage System (ECELS) programs. Kristin has an undergraduate degree in Print Journalism from Ithaca College and a Master of Science in Education Research from West Chester University. Marcie is a Registered nurse with 35+ years of varied nursing experiences, from acute care to geriatrics. She received her training initially from St. Margaret’s Nursing School and over the years furthered her education, first obtaining her BSN and then her MSN with a focus on families. She has worked many of these years with children, families, and staff as a Health Services Coordinator for Head Start. She has provided Child Care Health Consultation and trainings in the past for ECELS and other agencies and has served on various committees relating to child and family health. Caroline Manfre is the Program Assistant of ECELS (Early Childhood Linkage system) for the PA Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (PA AAP). Caroline graduated with her Master's degree in public health at West Chester University. Amanda Gehringer McDole comes to PA AAP with an extensive background in emergency medical services and experience in adult training, learning and organizational development, including over 15 years facilitating health training.
